The Darlington site underwent a comprehensive refurbishment addressing both structural integrity and operational safety through extensive exterior and interior works. Exterior improvements included recladding roof sections and elevations relining gutters re felting office roofs executing civil and brickwork repairs and enhancing perimeter security with new palisade fencing and repainted steel elements.
Internally the project prioritised health and safety by removing all asbestos replacing outdated electrical infrastructure rewiring heavy machinery installing new lighting alarm systems and upgrading switchgear across three warehouses.
